Dean tended to gravitate towards drummers with greater technical ability thinking outside of the box. With over 30 years of drumming in original and cover bands (See list below).
Culminating a variety of styles and influences together and yet still making the songs sound very cohesive.
  Dean is more of a musical contributor on the drums within a song when designing and arranging rhythms, rather than just your standard "lay down the basics".
